I love to cook. I really do. But back in the day of having a busy, hectic lifestyle, I found it was so much easier to stop for fast food. Plus I had two picky eaters who seemed to never like what I planned to cook for dinner so I kinda gave up cooking for a while. And whenever I did cook, something would go wrong and it would turn out terrible. So I became the mom who couldn’t cook. To this day, the kids accuse me of turning eggs green! Well, ok…. that actually did happen. Now that it’s just my husband and I at home, I cook all the time. I’m finding it a challenge to make the old family recipes made to serve 4 to 6 people down to servings for 1 or 2. Life is always teaching me something.
